Shiloh has settled in and enjoys our daily walks! She has been to the vet, and because we walk about 1 hour per day, the vet felt I should be feeding her a bit more! She is a wonderful companion! She is learning to sit and to stay! On my walks, I am always stopped by someone who comments about what a beautiful dog she is or someone asking what breed is she! People are intrigued by her pink nose. After our walk, she loves to sit on the couch with me! She loves to have her tummy rubbed! She is feeling comfortable not being in the same room as me and loves to sleep at the foot of my bed! Thanks so much to Tiffany at Wags and Whiskers for suggesting I meet Shiloh! She is a great addition to my life!

After losing the last of my 17 year old cats this past spring, I debated getting another. Pets are a big responsibility and commitment; emotionally and financially. During the months my house was cat-free it felt emptier and emptier, it was tough not having furry friends around. I missed the companionship and routines. You know it’s sad when you walk into the house and out of habit announce you’re home and there’s no one to greet you! It was time for me to adopt. Going to a rescue is a no brainer, I’ve had 5 cats from rescues and all of them were wonderful! In the past, choosing adult cats was a safe bet, they’re personalities already set. However, this time I jumped in head first… I went for kittens. I knew I wanted two, but decided 3 was no more work than 2… I adopted 3 kittens from Wags & Whiskers. Wags has been wonderful and my fur-babies make me so happy! I forgot how much work raising kittens is, but it’s a labor of love, and I know they’ll be great cats! Thank you!
Denny has been in our home for about 6 weeks and has adjusted well to
his new surrounding! Denny loves to take long walks (and run) around
the neighborhood. He wasn’t too sure what to think of all the snow we
got as it was deeper than he was but now look forward to his wintery
walks in the slush and snow! He started puppy classes and has already
mastered responding to his name, “sit”, “Denny come here” and is
working on “stay!” Potty training is still in the works! He loves any
and all dogs that want to play with him, just as long as they are
close to his size! He’s loves to chew on most anything he gets his
teeth on right now! His favorite toys are anything that squeek or he
can tug at! After a long day of playing, his most favorite thing to
do is snuggle in our laps and take a nap! Denny has been a great
addition to our home!
