Adoption Fees

Wags & Whiskers Animal Rescue of Minnesota is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that relies on adoption fees to sustain our organization and to ensure that adoptable animals receive proper veterinary and daily care prior to being adopted.  Please see (Adoption Process) tab for details on what care is provided to our animals prior to adoption.

Wags & Whiskers accepts cashier’s checks, money orders, personal checks, and all credit cards through PayPal, (Payment through PayPal is preferred) with the required applicable sales tax of 8.13% added to each adoption fee.

Adoption Fees

Puppies Under 6 months $450
Dogs over 6 months $400
Senior dogs (10 years & older) $300

Cats under 12 months $250
Cats over 12 months $160

The adoption fee includes the following vetting:

• Spay/Neuter
• Rabies vaccination
• Distemper combination vaccination
• FIV/FeLv testing (for cats only)
• Microchip implant

*All animals are given monthly Flea/Tick Preventative and Heartworm Preventative while in our rescue.
