After losing the last of my 17 year old cats this past spring, I debated getting another. Pets are a big responsibility and commitment; emotionally and financially. During the months my house was cat-free it felt emptier and emptier, it was tough not having furry friends around. I missed the companionship and routines. You know it’s sad when you walk into the house and out of habit announce you’re home and there’s no one to greet you! It was time for me to adopt. Going to a rescue is a no brainer, I’ve had 5 cats from rescues and all of them were wonderful! In the past, choosing adult cats was a safe bet, they’re personalities already set. However, this time I jumped in head first… I went for kittens. I knew I wanted two, but decided 3 was no more work than 2… I adopted 3 kittens from Wags & Whiskers. Wags has been wonderful and my fur-babies make me so happy! I forgot how much work raising kittens is, but it’s a labor of love, and I know they’ll be great cats! Thank you!
